I'm amazed every new semester how easy it is to fall back into the same old grind with all of my classes and activities. In the grand scheme of things,this was a pretty laid back week for me. One exciting part of my week was being able to get back to my Girl Scout troop. Our first meeting since December was this week and it was really nice to see how excited the girls were to get back into the swing of it! They've been busy with their cookie sales over the Winter break and were really excited to tell us all about how much they had sold.

Another good part of my week was the campus tour I gave on Friday. The weather had been acting up all morning, but before we left the admissions office it seemed okay so we all decided against umbrellas. By the time we actually got outside the rain had started to come down again, but the group decided to brave it instead of looping back for the umbrellas. There was one woman who really did not want to get wet so she would ask me which building we were headed to next and then sprint ahead of us as fast as she could. Her husband and son were laughing so hard at her that it got the rest of the group laughing too. I love giving tours where people are able to loosen up and enjoy the little mishaps.
