Finals Week
Third semester of college down the drain, boys and girls. This semester was by far my most challenging one that I have worked through. Between some demanding classes and my new Ambassador role, I definitely felt like I had a full plate for the full 15 weeks of classes.
My first two semesters I really kept to myself in school. I have never been one to try and reach out to make friendships, I have more so just hoped other people would approach me and get the ball rolling After working with these 11 other amazing students, I finally feel like I have a family here at UCBA. In addition to that, this experience also opened me up in all of my classes and I wasn't afraid to reach out to my classmates and form relationships in the classroom.
To wrap up my final week, I worked really hard on a final paper with some classmates, studied hard for my remaining two exams, and watched a lot of Star Wars to give my brain a break in between. I also worked my last two welcome desk shifts of the semester and, sadly, never figured out how to turn on the heater that sits below the desk.
