Week 13

This has been a very exciting week for me! As part of my Community Coordinator Role, my fellow Ambassador Sage and I have organized a used coat drive to be able to give back to Operation Give Back this winter for their used coat store they hold every year. We have been tabling in the main hallway of Muntz this past week in order to make people more aware and boost the spirit around it. There are also buckets around the school for students to drop their donations in whenever they like.

Last week was very hectic because of all my exams I had, but I am very proud to say that all of the studying paid off! Especially in my research methods and stats exam that I was so worried about! Somehow I managed to get an A and it actually brought me back up to an A- in the class. We have one more really big grade in the class and I am really hopeful that I can bring my total grade in the class up to an A. My other two exams also went really well and I feel like I am going to be able to finish off this semester on a really strong note.

There was one funny hiccup this week though. On Wednesday night I gave a prospective student tour. This was the first one I have given in a while and definitely the first one since the clocks rolled back. It was already dark, but on top of that facilities had been working on the lights earlier in the day so they had to turn off all of the overhead lamps outside... Making it entirely pitch black when we were touring outside. There was a lot of, "Okay and watch your step right here so you don't miss this ledge here!".
