Faith DeYoung

I first met Faith over the summer when we were working as SOLs. I always found that she was a very trustworthy person and super dependable. I was disappointed to hear that her schedule didn't line up with the Ambassadorship in the fall, but I was so excited to hear that she would be joining the team during the spring semester.

Having her back on the team these last couple of weeks was really great. One week we worked an inclusivity tabling event together. Sometimes it can be difficult to work the tabling events because you have to call out to the students walking down the hall and may even feel like you're bothering them, but Faith had no issue shouting out to everyone with me as they walked by to try and encourage them to stop by the table and look at what we had going on that day.

One thing I love about Faith is the obvious passion she has for what she does. The care that she shows towards animals is unmatched and I have no doubt in my mind that she will make an excellent vet tech and that her excellence will continue to shine through in everything she does. Now that the semester has been cut short due to everything going on, I will miss hearing all about her life updates with trying to buy her home. I am excited to hear about all of the great things she will continue to do from here on out.
